About Me
My name is Thurein Tun, but I go by Rainy as my preferred nickname. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and I attended Hawaii Pacific University for my DPT where I performed my clinical rotations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Seattle. As the proud nephew of a plastic surgeon and an anesthesiologist, I always desired a career in healthcare. I found physical therapy to be the perfect fit for me as I've always been someone who wants to be hands on and deeply involved with the patient's plan of care. My favorite athletes growing up often suffered career altering injuries which gave me a deep fascination about recovery and rehabilitation. Physical Therapy truly provides me the perfect mix of passion and profession.
Education
I attended high school at Southwest Career & Technical Academy in my hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated in the class of 2018. I attended University of Reno, Nevada for my freshman year of college and then transferred to the University of Las Vegas, Nevada where I obtained my bachelor's in kinesiology in December of 2022. During my gap years, I worked as a physical therapy technician for Premier Physical Therapy where I was given the title of senior tech. I started my DPT journey at the start of 2025 with Hawaii Pacific University as a part of their inaugural Las Vegas campus cohort.
Passions
Outside of academics, I showcase my skills in the wrestling ring, going by the stage name, Adrian Rain. Often called "The Cloud Dragon," I try my best to shine through my aerial abilities and charisma. Professional wrestling has always been a love of mine ever since I was a child. I'm a strong believer that not enough people chase their childhood dreams. I started training during my gap years and I've been performing in front of crowds all over the country for over 3 years now. I frequent Las Vegas, Southern California, Seattle, and Houston for my matches.
Personal
When I'm not in the ring or the clinic, I'm busy being a dog dad to my husky, Pikachu. I'm also an avid PC gamer, more specifically League of Legends. I often find myself working out or going on runs in my free time. I'm also a huge nerd when it comes to Star Wars and Marvel. Building legos and exploring cafes is a signature past time of mine.
